Johnson cannot be a race car driver. He is too tall.

I have joined the sentences in three ways as follows. Please let me know which one is correct. Thanks.

1. Johnson cannot be a race car driver because of his height.

2, Johnson cannot be a race car driver because of his being too tall.

3. Johnson cannot be a race car driver because of him being too tall.

If none of them is correct, could you please let me know the correct way to do it?

1 and 2 are correct. 1 is the most natural. You could also say "...because he is too tall".

:up: ...or you could invert the two ideas and say 'John is too tall to be a racing car driver'. (In Br Eng I think 'racing car' is more common than the more American 'race car driver....:-? Other teachers may think differently though.)
