Hi there. Would you please proofread the following text? Any help would be appreciated.
**************************************************************************************************
Lanhua had never dreamed about herself, directly. Sometimes she was in the dream, and saw what was going on, but her visions were always about other people, not herself. So, she was not likely to dream about her marriage or the boy she would marry; though, she did dream about having a baby in her arms, and she knew it was hers, but that dream was about her father.
Lanhua took advantage of Jingying's helpful actions and made an effort to talk more with Weihu; he responded in kind, and they developed a slow-growing friendship. However, in the end, it was not Weihu that she would eventually marry, but it was through him, that she would meet her future husband. Weihu and Lanhua would be best friends for the rest of their lives, each becoming a stepping stone for the other to meet their future spouse.
About three months later, Weihu's family was having a celebration; his father had had his best harvest in ten years, so the family invited their relatives and friends along to help them celebrate. It was at this celebration Weihu introduced Lanhua to his cousin, Xunying. They also became friends, and not long after that, more.
