I can't bear you doing that vs I can't bear for you to do that.
I would like to ask you if the second version, namely, I can't bear for you to do that is acceptable.
"To bear" in "(Not) to bear for somebody to do something" is one of few verbs which doesn't usually take "for".
In my opinion, I can't bear you doing that and I can't bear for you to do that mean exactly the same.
What do you think?
