1 I think we can say I am going to buy another one pair of shoes.and we can omit pair of shoes.So I am going to buy another one should be OK.

2 The reason why I ask this one is that I am not sure if To drive is correct. Because I chose Driving， but the excise book which I am using says the answer is To drive. I got confused. 2006 teacher, Why is to drive incorrect?

and we can omit pair of shoes. No, you can't.

A pair of shoes is two shoes, and both are worn out. You need to by another pair, not just another one. (= one shoe)

I got confused. 2006 teacher, Why is to drive incorrect? Because we use the gerund form to head the noun phrase 'Driving cars too fast'.

We just don't use 'To drive' there. Although it would be understandable, it is not standard/correct English.
