In a restaurant, please, what's a pass counter? Can you inform me where I can find any information and image on the net?

Thanks

In the US, it's usually called a pass-through counter, pass-through window, or simply pass-through. :-D It's a large window-type space (no glass in it, though!) between the kitchen and the servers' preparation area with a shelf or series of shelves below. Here is one, and here's another one. The cook or chef places the plate of food on the counter from his side of the window once it's ready to be served, and the server picks it up from the other side to place it on a tray and bring it to the customer's table.
