Where can I find a dictionary of phrases like "make known", "make the jump"...?

I'm learning English and I'm having a problem, I can not understand the meaning of the word "make known" and similar expressions of "make", "go". Etc. Where can I find a dictionary of phrases like "make known", "make the jump"...? I hope to get an explanation and suggestions of the native English speakers. I sincerely thank you.

You can search for phrases in dictionaries like OneLook Dictionary Search

You need to add * after the search- to get only phrases then type make * (including the space)
http://www.onelook.com/?w=make+*&ls=a

You can then refine the search to include common phrases only, etc.

OneLook is an amazing resource!
I just spent 30 minutes playing around with it.

The wildcard feature is a great way to find phrasal verbs.
Thanks for the heads up.
