I wonder which of them are grammatical and make sense.

Actually I want to know why sentence 1 does not make sense.

How do you say when you feel spun out.

So do take these remarks with a pinch of salt.

1. I'm complicated - is grammatically sound and means that your character/personality is complicated (nothing to do with "being spun out"!)

2. This is a complicated issue - is grammatically sound and means that the issue is ... well, complicated.

3. This is a complicating issue - is grammatically sound and means that the issue (simple as it might be) has a potential to complicate things.

To be "spun out" means to be confused, intesely preoccupied with something to the point of not being able to think clearly or focus on other important things and therefore looking lost and ... silly.
