How do you think of workplace against my life? Imet with such a phrase as "both in the workplace and in our personal lives." By the way which is the original word of pk?
Thanks!

In China, pk is now a pupular word for every one even an elementary pupil. It's meaninjg , I suppose , is against. How come it , I don't know. So I asked you.

Getting rid of it, let's return to the mutton. Workplace is a site ,belonging to the concept of location, while life is something of time. How can they be linked together in my quotation?
Thank you!

There is no problem drawing a contrast between the demands of work and the demands of home, or whatever aspects you're comparing.

Don't focus on one being a "place" and one being something else.

This afternoon I met across a chart as follows:

From the chart I came to know what PK means. Maybe it comes from the English word "pick".

Not being able to read Chinese, that doesn't help me at all. I still have no idea what Pk means.

FYI (For your information), "pk" is not only not a word, it is not used in AmE (nor BrE I suspect).

I've also asked a Chinese speaking friend to weigh in :)

He reports:

111399 “agree” Vs 42770 “don’t agree”.
Pk comes from Soccer ball term “Penalty Kick”, a stronger meaning of Vs.

And I don't have too much faith in people who use the (non-) expression 'Soccer ball term'.

Wow, the level of arrogance here is stifling. I, as not a teacher, can easily see how a penalty kick can be thought of as "versus". And for my friend, I’m sorry that him speaking ESL is below your tolerance.

Actually, you reported that your friend claimed that penalty kick = 'a stronger meaning of versus'. 'penalty kick does not mean 'versus', and it is hard to conceive of 'a stronger meaning of versus'. I don't quite see why you consider it arrogant to suggest that 'Soccer ball term' is not an English expression,
And for my friend, I’m sorry that him speaking ESL is below your tolerance.
I am not quite sure what you mean by that.

At a stretch, I guess I can see that a penalty kick in soccer is one player versus one goalkeeper.

Nonetheless, it is quite clear that it's not used in BrE or AmE, or any other version of English, so as long as the OP understands not to use it in future threads, then that's all that really matters.
