If you have been learning English for only one month, you do not need to write essays yet. Your teacher should not ask you to write an essay. I think your teacher should have taught you about singular and plural nouns by now. We say "1 month" but "2 (or 3 or 4 etc) months". When you wrote "1 months" in your reply, it was incorrect.
