Hello,

My colleagues use the phrase "to cancel a reference or a feature".

is it the correct term?

Could we also use "delete or suppress" in this case?

Thank you
Will

Could you give a complete example? "Delete a reference" can be used in a lot of technical writing but it's unclear how it is being used.

Thank you.

E.g: This product is no longer green. We need to cancel this reference. (Ref n° 124857: Green product).

Thank you

Thank you.

And can we use "cancel" too?

Can I say: I need to cancel this reference.

Can I say: I need to cancel, suppress or delete this characteristic?

THank you
