Hello,

Recently I purchase something online and encounter blow prompt:

Select "This is a gift" to:
1. Include a packing slip so the recipient knows who it's from.
2. Hide prices on the packing slip.
3. Add optional gift wrap.
4. Include a personalized gift message.
5. Keep the gift a surprise by concealing items that ship in only the manufacturer's original box.

I just confused with the bolded No.5.

The word "ship" is a verb in the clause or noun together with "concealing items" ? Does the sentence here mean concealing those items in a ship or something?

Thank you very much!

In this case, "ship" is a verb in its intransitive form. To be sent as a delivery.

Thank you José. but if it's a intransitive verb, I think it should be used as "by concealing items that was shipped in only the manufacturer's original box."

Why it be used in original form?

"The items will ship tomorrow" is another example of "ship" as an intransitive verb.

"Ship" related to goods to be sent.

No need for the passive voice.
