till or untill two months ago

"Does this guy ring any bells?"

"That's George.Head of security. He was my boss until two months ago when she fired him." Is it OK with "untill two months"?

Either until or till. Untill is not correct. I would also use a perfect tense.

He had been my boss until two months ago when she fired him.

I was going to ask if the past simple is correct in this sentence.:up:

The past simple is more natural, in my opinion.
