Hi everyone,

I have learned that we should use equal grammatical units on both side of correlative conjunction. However, is the following a good example of parallelism? There is a clause on one side, and the other side is a noun phrase.

"Not only will they paint the outside of the house but also the inside."

No.

Not only will they paint the outside of the house but they will also paint the inside.
Do this alternative version make sense?
Not only will they paint the outside of the house but also they will paint the inside.
