Can I say "Athough native to Europe, this plant is...."?
What I was taught is that after "athough" we use a clause, but I have just found above sentence.
I think they obmitted something in that sentence? Just my opinion.

They didn't omit anything that needs to be there. There are a couple of words which could be added, but they're not obligatory.

Although [it is] native to Europe, this plant is ...
meaning
Despite the fact that it is native to Europe, this plant is ...
