Is it ok to start a sentence with sorry?

My job is a driver and I want to be as friendly and polite as possible.

Qn1) For example, if I am a driver and I want to ask the passenger what route he prefer to take, can I say:

Sorry Sir, which is your preferred route?

Qn2) Is it ok if I say, "Hello, which is your preferred route?"

There is no need to say "sorry" in this sentence. It's unreasonable to expect you to read their mind, so you have nothing to apologize for.

You can simply say "Do you have a preferred route?"
People visiting the city don't have a preferred route, so asking them "which" may confuse them. They are counting on YOU to know how to get there.

On the other hand, yes, it is OK to start a sentence with 'Sorry' when it's appropriate:
"Sorry, I didn't hear you. Could you repeat that please?"

I want to say I am using the gps to reach the destination. I intend to say something like:

"Hello, I am using the gps, is that ok with you?"
"Hello, I am following the gps route, is that ok with you?"
"Hello, I am going by the gps, is that ok with you?"

Are the sentences ok? Thanks

Yes, they're all OK, as long as you don't use run-on sentences. But I understand it's spoken.
