When using the rule of the double future, should I put the verb "to be" at the present as usual, if it is in the secondary clause? It sounds strange...
eg: "When I am a mother, (I hope) I'll do the right things"
or
"When I am an adult, I'll be a lawyer"
Foolish sentences, sorry
