I encountered the following sentence in my grammar book, and I think it's a printing or editing mistake. It should be "Are there any students who work part time?", but to make sure, can "there any students who work part time?" ever work?

ex) there any students who work part time?

The only way I could see it not being a printing error would be if it were direct speech. The sentence is grammatically incomplete but someone might say it.
