Hi there,

I would like to know

1. what's the difference among time period, time interval and time instant?

Period and interval both refer to a certain stretch of time. The difference between them is that interval, more often than period (interval always while period not), denotes a period between two events, between a pair of instances, between a pair of moments in time, which are understood.

2. Regarding overlapping time and overlapped time, which one is correct?
.

What is the idea that you want to express?

What's the difference [STRIKE]among[/STRIKE] between time period, time interval, (comma here too) and time instant?

Do not be shy to use 'between' for more than two items. ;-)

Thank you for your support. Actually, I just wanna know in which situation we can use overlapping time and in which situation we can use overlapped time. They can be exchanged each other?

[STRIKE]They can be exchanged each other?[/STRIKE]

Can they be used interchangeably?

From 6 to 9 and from 7 to 11 are overlapping time periods/intervals. :tick:
From 6 to 9 and from 7 to 11 are [STRIKE]overlapped[/STRIKE] time periods/intervals. :cross:

'Overlapped time'? I do not think they collocate.
