Hi,

1) treatment that works
2) treatment that worked

Which one is right? Which one is more commonly used?

A) It works for me.
B) It worked for me.

Which one is right? Which one is more commonly used?

If "worked" is used, does it meant that it does not work now, only it worked in the past?

Thanks

Yes, 'worked' is the past tense of 'works'. All of your phrases could be used in sentences (and they should be).
They mean different things. You use the form that's appropriate.

That depends. What's the sentence in which the phrase is used? If you mean "It worked for me", that's a reference to the past. It's impossible to tell whether anything still works, without more context.

1) This is the treatment that works for me
2) This is the treatment that worked for me

If I used the treatment in the past, and now the treatment still works, should I use works or worked?

Just to clarify, if I used the treatment in the past, the treatment works and cured my problem, after the problem is solved I did not use it anymore for many years. But I know the treatment still works now.

When I am telling it to my friend, should I use works or worked?

Tell your friend the product worked for you in the past and you are confident that it will still work for you now!

You can say that it has always worked for you.
