Hello everyone,
I´d like to ask about grammar in this sentence. I understand it means that a test it´s hard but why this form?
I found it in a book.

There is also a structure that looks the sames as what you have asked.
i.e.: he is such a good man==> he is so good a man.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

In rather formal English we can use too + adjective + a/an + noun:
• I hope you haven't had too tiring a day. (not ... a too tiring day.)
(In a less formal style we might say 'I hope your day hasn't been too tiring.')
