Where did you come in the last English exam?

Does this sentence mean the following?
How well did you do in the last English exam?
Are there any other ways to express the similar meaning?
Thanks.

In asking one about one´s exam result, I would use:

"How did your last English exam turn out?"

"What about your last English exam? Did you succeed?"

And the answer would be:

"Yeah, I turned up trumps again; you know, I have been carrying on with the teacher for a while ..." :)

No. It means 'In what position did you come in the last English exam? Were you first in your class, third, fourteenth or what?'
