I read the following sentence on a magazine.
The World Monuments Fund's 2012 list of endangered historic structures includes 67 sites spread across 41 countries and territories.
Is it grammatically correct to use "spread" in this sentence? Since there are no relative pronouns to connect the clause "67 sites spread across 41 countries and territories", should "spreading" be the correct usage in this case?
Thanks for help
