Dear teachers,
if you should say that you problems in class with a boy because he is very bubbly and he always speaks, he's not interested in the subject and you cannot make him (keep sat down) or (make him sit down) because he does not want to sit, he always goes around in the class, he always fools around...how would you say? what expressions or verbs would you use?

Thanks

In the current world, he would be be called a child with ADD (attention deficit disorder). I am not sure I agree with that diagnosis in all cases. Sometimes, the child is just bored with the material and needs tougher assignments.

But what about the verbs I used?
Is it correct to say "to make him sit down" or "to make him keep sat down"?
Is it "go around the class" and "fool around" correct to say that he doesn't take the lesson seriously?

Can you suggest any more expressions to use to say this kind of problem with kids?

'He won't sit still.'
'He messes about.'
'He distracts the other children.'
'He's a f****** nuisance.'

"Make him sit down" works.

I have a child with ADHD. She found it very hard to stay seated as well.
