Can I use the verb "to expose" as in "I'm going expose people to a new product on the market."? Or should I say "I'm going to expose a new product to people."?
NOT A TEACHER
(1) If I were you, I would not use that verb.
(2) It often has a very negative and unpleasant meaning:
(a) The politician lost the election after his private life was exposed in the
newspapers.
(b) In many countries, the police will not let women (or men) expose (show) too
much on the beach.
(3) I think that English Freak had the most appropriate word:
introduce.
(4) There is another word, but you would have to change the order:
I am going to
present a new product
to people.
