Hello Teachers and friends,

We always say tuition fees and school fees but the dictionary says fee is a payment for some work or service rendered. So should it be school fee and not school fees because we are paying for one school fee? If I am taking an English class at a Language Centre, is that called tuition fee or school fee?

Thank you.

Generally 'fee' for a single lesson and 'fees' for termly payments covering several/many lessons.
