Hi there,
I would say "He has agreed to provide with accommodation or he will provide accommodation to me"
Whenever I talk about accommodation, I use "provide" with it. But can you think of other words which can be preceded by "accommodation"?
Thanks.

"accommodation" is mostly used in UK. What about in USA? Which instead of accommodation is used in USA?

The sentences are not correct:

He has agreed to provide [STRIKE]with[/STRIKE] accommodation.
He will provide
me accommodation [STRIKE]to me.[/STRIKE]

Housing is different from accomodation. Housing is accomodation in the long term.

not a teacher

"He has agreed to accommodate me."

This sentence would almost surely be understood in AmE to be talking about something other than lodging.

I thought of that, but I'm assuming the context is clear.
Yes "accommodate" does have another important meaning.

Do you mean something like 'A guy accommodates a girl and they have a relationship'?

Two members who are not teachers have pointed out my mistakes. Thanks for that. But I am still not able to follow your instruction because no any teacher or moderate commented on t and of course it makes me even more confused. I think I made a mistake too. However, I would say it like this; He has agreed to provide me with accommodation. Because I follow the grammar rule.

This sentence would almost surely be understood in AmE to be talking about something other than lodging.
What else can it mean? However, I can use it for what I meant to use, can't I?

If you look in a dictionary, the definitions that have to do with providing a room are 4 and 5.

Definition 1, "to do a favor or oblige" is what I would say is the most common use of the word. Certainly in the sentence I was discussing. "To accommodate someone" means to oblige them, to do what they have asked for.

Not A Teacher

That is though different in BrE than AmE, we would regard providing as room more common.
