Again, you have used far more words than necessary.

When productivity falls, many companies pressure their employees to work harder. This frustrates the employees and usually results in the opposite effect.

They pressure them. Pressurizing people would be something different.

Brits pressurize people. An American would need a pressure vessel and a big air pump to do that, and would probably resist if someone tried to pressure​ them into committing such a bizarre act.

We do use it in BrE to mean "pressure" but it's not really the right word! You certainly hear people saying things like "Did you feel pressurised into doing it?"

Most of the companies = the majority of a fixed set of companies, as in a survey
Many companies = a lot of companies in general

That would not mean the same thing. You could say Did you feel pressured into doing it?

And, in BrE at least, many would say Did you feel pressurised into doing it?
