The purpose of a petty cash fund is to provide immediate cash resource to reimburse any out-of-pocket purchase not exceeding QR. 500 for any materials purchase. Do not use the petty cash fund to purchase any material that cost exceeding more than QR. 500. Any material purchase that cost more than QR. 500 should follow the following procedure.
Make enquiries with suppliers about the price of the required material and secure at least three quotations from various suppliers, make comparison about the price differences and finalize to purchase the most economical value- of course, no compromise in the quality of the material
