Dear teachers,
Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?
…at Hide-and-seek” and blind man’s buff I thoroughly amused myself till dinner-time. (Maugham’s “Making of a Saint”, chapter XXII)
blind man’s buff = a game in which a blindfolded player tries to catch and identify one of the other players.
Thanks for your efforts.
Regards,
V
