[General] An Instrument for Evaluating Pronunciation

Dearest istructor (or insructress, if you like)!

I have the honour to acquaint you with the following: being a poor foreigner, I have not an opportunity to evaluate my pronunciation, therefore I need very good sppech analyzer. Do you know what is the best programme which evaluate pronunciation.

Please do not use introductions to your questions. Just go ahead and ask them. Also:
1- "dearest" is only used with people you are very close to.
2- We are not instructors.

Note also that "instrument" in your title is not correct. Use "software" instead.
I don't know of any such program, but I'm sure they exist. Perhaps other members can offer some help. You can always make short recordings on vocaroo.com and post the links to this section of the forum.

Not long ago, I stumbled upon this site. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks promising. :-D
And my school teacher showed us these BBC videos "The Sounds of English" from the bottom of the page. I also watched "Tim's Pronunciation Workshop." But I personally feel a bit uncomfortable because of Tim looking at me so intensively. :lol:
