While carrying out the jar test, as soon as I added the acid to the sample in jar while stirring it, it resulted in effervescence, all the liquid converted into foam and bubbled out of the jar till I the jar was hardly left with any sample.

Now there are two correct sentences instead of one run-on sentence with a comma splice. I prefer the bold part to your word order, but I won't go as far as saying that your word order is definitely wrong.
Why did you put the "I" after "till"?
