Greetings, it's been awhile. :)

So, what on Earth is a "creative district"?

A district that creates things? Do we get a hint?

As in "industrial district" or "artisan district"? Still unclear though.

riquecohen, Restaurant *name* in the creative district of *city name*.

But if you already know that the meaning is as in those other terms, a creative district must be a district in which people create things, or in which creative people live or work. With the context you have given riquecohen, that is also the most likely answer.

It could refer to a part of a city known for the artists and other creative types who inhabit it.

Raymott, the problem is that I have to translate this bit but in my language translating the word "creative" won't work in this case, it has to be an industrial district, or business, etc. Which one do you think fits best? Just to be on the safe side. :)

SoothingDave, thanks. Could be it.

It is very difficult to say without real context. As you have seen, we don't know what a 'creative district' is.

Well, the context is virtually nonexistent. I guess I'll go with artists. Thanks everybody.

Well, you seem to have figured it out. If you google "creative district", you'll find one in Raleigh, North Carolina and one in Los Alamos, New Mexico.:)
