I am not in Canada right now but I will be going back to Canada soon. So i thought i should select Canada for my location. Even though i knew it would not make sense for me to say that i am in Canada literally.

Welcome to the forum.

Not right now but I will be going back to Canada in two weeks.

Always capitalise 'I'.

Please ask us a question rather than make us guess what you want to know.

I can tell you that 'one hundred dollars' is always written $100 (not 100$).

In English, we put the dollar sign before the number: $100.

"$100" is pronounced "one hundred dollars" or "a hundred dollars".

It's the peso symbol in Mexico. The symbol for the British pound is "£".
