    Question

When I first come to a restaurant, what am I supposed to say to the reps?

I usually say "Hi, do you have a table for two?" is it right?

I usually say "It's totally fine with me" But, I heard today "It's totally fine to me" Which one is right?

I say "When I first came over to the United States" is it right? "when I first came to the US" is the right saying?

    Thank you!

I usually say "Hi, do you have a table for two?" is it right? It's O.K. in a casual place, but if you are in a fine dining place it is better to say, Good afternoon, good evening, or just Hello, do you........... etc.

I usually say "It's totally fine with me" But, I heard today "It's totally fine to me" Which one is right? If they take you to a table, you would say, "That's fine with me." Although totally fine is not incorrect.

Totally fine to me could be used if someone asks you to listen to something, to check if something is good or understandable. They you would say, "It sounds totally fine to me." This could also be used if someone is planning a party or meeting and asks for your approval/disapproval.

I say "When I first came over to the United States" is it right? "when I first came to the US" is the right saying? Both are acceptable.
    Thank you!
