    Rephrasing of sentence

    Since he was young, he has shown apathy towards worldly affairs and used immerse in deep thoughts.

    Can some member please rephrase the sentence for me as I find it awkward?

    Ever since he was young, he has shown an antipathy to affairs of the world, preferring to remain immersed in his own deep thoughts.
