    fare

    Hi

    Is it a good sentence:

Monthly fare for a train is cheaper and it pays off more to commute than to rent a room.

The monthly train fare is cheaper (than what?) and it costs less to commute than to rent a room.

    Re: fare

    Hi

But does it mean that: The monthly fare for a train is wrong?

    What about "pay off"?

Because the fare is cheaper it more pays off to commute rather than to rent a room.
