    Please do note the comment about being found offensive.

    Many people who don't object at all to "Damn!" or "Dammit!" find the deliberate choice to say "Goddamn!" instead offensive.

    It's often "bleeped" out of movies that are shown on TV, while the "damns" make it through with no trouble.
