    Question feel vindicated

What a difference one night makes!

Feeling vindicated and proud after the spectacularly successful Opening Ceremony at the Beijing Olympics at 8 p.m. on August 8, 2008, the Chinese people are ecstatic.

The gala event was perfectly executed, and reinvigorating for billions of people around the world.

Beijing has kept its promise to the IOC in making the Games a launch-pad for global humanitarian, environmental and scientific progress.

What does 'feeling vindictated' mean? Thank you!

    Re: feel vindicated

If you are vindicated, you are proved right when others questioned or didn't believe.
