    It is the dead, not living who makes the longest demands, we die for ever

    So - this is part of the dialogue between Antigone and her sister, Ismene. What, then, is the conflict/disagreement that is going on?
    Why does Ismene say she cannot help?
    Why does Antigone feel that she, at least, must act, and bury her brother?
