Hello everybody, I have a basic doubt regarding verb. Please explain.

    Hello everybody,

    I have a basic doubt.

    For e.g.,

    He speaks a little French.

    How will it change as

His students speak a little French

Because, He/She/It will have verb as speaks/learns etc.

    Please explain. Thanks

    Hello,I'm 'The French',

He speaks (third person add a 's').

His students is plural , so don't use the 's'.

    Don't mix he and his.

    Have a nice day.

His student speaks French. 'His student' is third person singular, so the verb 'speak' takes an 's' and becomes 'speaks'.
His students speak French. 'His students' is third person plural, so the verb 'speak' doesn't take an 's' and remains in the bare infinitive 'speak'.
