please tell me if i can make negative-interrogative sentences using 'never'?
    eg
Do you never eat meat? Have you never seen a lion? People say such sentences are not acceptable . they are wrong. if they are wrong what will be the correct sentences?

You can say; 'Have you never eaten meat?' 'Have you never seen a lion?' 'Have you never been to London?' etc. These express surprise that the person you are asking has not done these things.

While Have you never seen a lion? expresses surprise that the person you are asking has not done this thing, Do you never eat meat? expresses surprise that the person you're asking does not do this thing at all.

    thanks a lot.
someone told me that we cannot frame negative interrogative sentences using 'never'.I went through a number of books .I did not find any such sentences.but I was not satisfied with what i have read.I was of the opinion that such sentences can be framed.so i posted the question. now that learned personalities like you have posted the answers my confusion has gone.i am very much thankful to you.
    thanks once more

Yes, that's true, I neglected to point that out.

    Have you never been mellow
    Have you never tried
To find a comfort from inside you
    Have you never been happy
    Just to hear your song
Have you never let someone else
    Be strong

    Song by Olivia Newton-John.
