    Can you tell me why in details please?

    It's 'interest'. 'Interest' is a noun. 'Interesting' is an adjective which describes a noun, 'an interesting book' for example.

    The first is correct.
    The second is not correct. "Interesting" is an adjective.

    but sir we can use (interesting) as verbal noun..
