    paraphrasing of seven sentences

    Dear teachers,

    Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my attempt paraphrasing the following sentences?

    1.1.He will have to study hard to compensate for the lessons he has missed.
    1.2.He will have to study hard to make up for the lessons he has missed.

    2.1. He was spotlessly attired.
    2.2. He was immaculately dressed.

    3.1. I decided tio save up for the holiday.
    3.2. I decided to set some money aside for the holiday.

    4.1. Don’t bother about that, we shall do it next time.
    4.2. Never mind that, we shall do it next time.

    5.1. Circumstances forced him to do such a thing.
    5.2. He was driven by circumstances to do such a thing.

    6.1. Their lively conversation attracted our attention.
    6.2. Their animated conversation attracted our attention.

    7.1. His clothes were spick and spam and his behavior tactful.
    7.2. His clothes were immaculate and his behavior tactful.

    such trifle, we shall do it next time. OK I feel the expression in red in place of that sounds better.

    He was a victim of extraneous circumstances.
    6.1. Their lively conversation attracted our attention.

    6.2. Their animated conversation attracted our attention. OK or
    Theirenlightened and informal talk kept us engaged..
    7.1. His clothes were spick and spam and his behavior tactful.
    7.2. His clothes were immaculate and his behavior tactful.
    OK or
    His immaculate dress matched his tactful behavior.
