Post 3 sentences about Passage of Jake Lloyd - Anakin

Recently, Jake Lloyd came out to Australia as a guest of Supanova, and we had a chat to him, face to face. This is one of the most fascinating psychological profiles of what happens when you go back to school after "being in the most anticipated film of all time".

Ten years old, getting blamed for ruining the Star Wars series. (Well, that was mainly the fault of George Lucas, but the kid was there, wasn't he?) And people just won't let it go. The Sci-Fi Australia blog caught up with the glum Star Wars alum "Down Under", who sounds more Eeyore than "Episode One."

Could teacher here help me to explain the 3 sentences' meaning?
The passage came from 2 different web news.
    Thanks a lot!

Re: 3 sentences about Passage of Jake Lloyd - Anakin

...after "being in the most anticipated film of all time".
...after appearing in a movie that more people eagerly looked forward to seeing than any film in history.

The Sci-Fi Australia blog caught up with the glum Star Wars alum "Down Under"
Someone representing the Sci-Fi Australia blog met with Jake Lloyd in Australia to interview him. The young actor, who was an alum (alumnus*) of the Star Wars series by virtue of having appeared in one of the films, was apparently sad and depressed.

*An alumnus is a male graduate of some school (female: alumna; general plural: alumni). The meaning can be generalized to someone who has completed participation in some major event or activity.

...who sounds more Eeyore than "Episode One."
Episode One refers to the first of the highly anticipated sequels to the original Star Wars trilogy (and the one in which Lloyd appeared as a youngster).

Eeyore is a character from Winnie the Pooh, a pessimistic, sad-eyed donkey who is typically characterized as being depressed over some perceived failure. The writer is making a joke about Jake Lloyd.
