    use of while

    Dear teachers,

Could someone tell me if the use of "while" in the following sentence is correct?

    -
I am particularly keen on the opportunity to have early responsibility and to assist the training team while gaining knowledge of the retail banking industry.

I mean that the actions mentioned above (to have early responsibility, to assist the training team and to gain knowledge) are simultaneous.

Is there any better way to say it?

    I hope it is understandable!

    Many thanks in advance.

'While' is perfect in that context.
