    question tag

One of the questions asked at the entrance exam of Police Academy was:

Let me fix that for you,.....?

    a. shall I
    b. don`t you
    c. don`t I
    d. aren`t I

In my opinion, no given answer is correct. It might be a, or I should say will you . I am not sure though.

Thank you very much for your help

I don't think any of them are correct either, I would suggest 'won't you'.

Yup, I'm with the majority here. I would have said they were all wrong. Of the four, a) is the least wrong!

But I'd have gone for "Let me fix that for you, would you?" or "will you". In order for the sentence to end with "shall I?", I would have expected it to start "I'll fix that for you......."
