    Which one is the correct answer and why, "tie down" or "stick"?

    A: Me, too. But I am not going to ______ at home studying just for some tedious old test.

    stick at home does not sound right.
    I would say:

    I am not going to get stuck at home studying for some boring old test.

    Similarily:

    I am not going to get tied down...

    Stick- this is correct because you'd get/be tied down.
