    Math expressions in English

    Hi fellows!

I have some doubts regarding pronouncing some mathematical expressions in English, as they are pronounced by native speakers.

How is the boundary math symbol pronounced?
It is the same symbol used for partial derivative in mathematics.
I think it comes from the cyrilic letter for "d".

I heard it is pronounced as "der" or "dow", is it correct?

This is how I know them:
    ∂f (partial of f)
    2f (second partial of f)
