    Smile difficult sentences

    dear sir these sentences

    1)What a mind job.
    (i don't understand mind here)

    2)You run your ass off
    i found to copy sth on a machine:

    3) There used to be cities
    that spanned hundreds of miles.
    But there's way too much information
    to decode the Matrix.
    here i don't understand "cities"

    Someone has done something to deliberately confuse you or play with your emotions, perhaps try to make you think you were crazy.

    What is the context? Could it literally mean giant cities that all just run into each other?
