    solidarity from

Is it correct to say "solidarity from" as in the following sentence?

The leading clubs covet a larger portion of the money earned by the federations, while the grassroots members complain of a lack of solidarity from the federations and of their failure to promote sport.

    Thanks

Yes, read it like this: "...a lack of solidarity; from the federations..." no punctuation is necessary it is just to illustrate that the two phrases are separate.

    Should I keep "of"?

The leading clubs covet a larger portion of the money earned by the federations, while the grassroots members complain of a lack of solidarity from the federations, in particular of their failure to promote sport.

    Thanks.

    It's not necessary.
